France 3 régale ce soir en programmant le premier grand chef d'oeuvre de Clint Eastwood en tant que réalisateur, le film qui lui a donné une légitimé auprès de tous les critiques américains ainsi ses premiers Oscars dans les catégories Meilleur Film et Meilleur Réalisation

Wyoming, 1880. Retiré dans sa ferme depuis onze ans, le redoutable tueur William Munny n'est plus qu'un veuf désabusé confronté aux difficultés de l'élevage des porcs. Il tente de nourrir ses enfants en ayant promis à leur mère disparue de renoncer à toute violence. Arrive alors un jeune tueur qui lui propose de partager un contrat : des prostitués offrent 10 000 dollars à celui qui abattra l'homme qui a défiguré l'une d'elle…

J'ai bien aimé avec Gene Hackman, j'ai aussi revu Mort ou vif avec lui, ça lui allait bien les rôles de méchant.
