I haven't seen many people talk about this, but these aren't pirates. It's actually a small ship filled with remote explosives designed to detonate when it gets close enough. The reason they're shooting here is to hit the explosives and blow it up before it reaches any closer. I believe this shop was from the Houthi rebels since I saw another video of this same clip explaining partially about it. They target cargo ships like this, which now employ armed guards as you see here. So just had to clear this up for some people 😅
