Le 7 octobre 2023, l'organisation islamiste du Hamas attaque des civils dans les kibboutz de Nir Oz, Be'eri mais aussi lors d'un festival de musique en plein désert. Des israéliens sont pris en otage. Suite à cette attaque, Israël commence à bombarder la bande de Gaza pour éradiquer le mouvement terroriste et libérer les otages israéliens toujours détenus côté palestinien. 10 mois après, les bombardements font rage et sème le chaos dans une enclave de 360 km. Sa population est affamée, à bout de force, contrainte au mouvement perpétuelle pour sauver sa vie.
